UPDATE - Works in progress

"Grimace" is coming along splendidly! Having a blast creating this character.
Grrr-imace, looking rather peeved

Actually, I am working on three separate projects, simultaneously. Two are polymer clay, which I've always preferred working with, and the last one is paper mache (not my all time favorite to work with).
Wee mousey!

Don't know whether working on so many projects at one time makes me seem somewhat ADD, or merely ambitious, ha ha, but it's what I like to do to keep my creative brain a-rollin.'
Handy pair o'spare hands

One of the projects on my table right now is a special custom order for a customer from my Etsy page: a pair of very stylized Jack O'Lanterns (not pictured here). Those are coming along beautifully. You know how I love to create pumpkins - can do those all day long! I'm doing those with paper mache, so it's taking a bit longer because of the never-ending waiting-till-it-dries factor, then adding another layer, etc.
Waiting, waiting, waiting. Ehhhhh.

Speaking of paper mache. I've used paper clay/cellu clay before, and as I've said, it's not my favorite medium. Perhaps it's the continuous dirty hands element, plus the fact that you have to keep smoothing it and then waiting for it to dry (waiting... waiting... WAITING), whereas with polymer clay, it's far more pliable and much cleaner. There are those artists out there who love using paper clay. I guess I need to get on the bandwagon and try to get better accustomed to using it.

What do you think about it? Anybody have an opinion?
